Coming soon: acquisition board DAB-84

DAB-84: data acquisition and reproduction of both analog and digital data specifically designed for wireless use, it has two analog inputs/outputs 4-20mA and four digital inputs/outputs.
The analog outputs are opto-isolated respect to the board, simulating a 2-wire 4-20 mA sensor, while the digital outputs are made with a normally open relay with current capacity of 3A @ 250Vac.
The analog inputs have low internal resistance and are protected by fuse, while the opto-isolated digital inputs are isolated from the board and accept excitation voltage in the range 5-24 Vac/dc and because of the low current consumption can be driven both by contacts auxiliary relays or transistor open collector or open drain MOSFET.
The communication is made via RS-485 serial port speed 9600 bps in size 8, N, 1, and the timing are optimized for wireless use, allowing, however, a wired connection.
The card can accept up to a maximum of three identical cards as expansions for a total of eight analog inputs/outputs and sixteen digital inputs/outputs. The board can work in two different modes:
- Point-to-point, all inputs values of a card (expansions included) functioning in a given location are replicated on a second card in a remote location and vice versa.
- Point-to-multipoint, by sending data according to the Modbus protocol is possible, from a location, read and write the state of all analog and digital inputs/outputs, addressing the different units in a network.
